Updates from the Inside

Construction inside the theater is coming along nicely. The orchestra pit is now complete, with the exception of the top slab. The focus is now on digging three tunnels running from the back of the house to the stage for the HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) system. Contractors Colantonio are currently a third of the way there and expect to complete the tunnels by the end of January.

Elsewhere in the building, the CMU (concrete masonry units, formerly known as “cinder blocks”) shafts have been constructed for “Stair 1” and the main elevator, from the basement to the third floor. Speaking of the upper floors, they began framing the interior walls on the second and third floors, and electrical has started!
